The property claimed to be near many attractions, but I spent most of my time in their "charming" common area waiting for someone to check me in. The paid airport shuttle was a highlight though.
Oh, how I loved paying extra for a towel and not having soap in the bathroom. So glad all the lockers were filled with laundry too.

The rooms at First Phuket Hostel are really cozy and comfortable. I loved that every room has a flat-screen TV, so I could relax and watch my favorite shows. The shared bathrooms were always clean, and I enjoyed sitting on the balcony and enjoying the beautiful garden view. The kitchenette in selected rooms was a bonus, as it allowed me to cook simple meals during my stay. the rooms provided everything I needed for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.
The only downside for me was the shared bathrooms. Although they were kept clean, I prefer having a private bathroom.

The location was great, within walking distance of the center and local market. the staff was friendly and helpful, offering a fridge and kettle free to use in the common area. the spacious hangout spaces were a plus.
The air conditioning was not the best as it was shared among two rooms and only switched on after 6 pm. the beds were not very comfortable and the rooms were small, lacking windows to provide fresh air.

Great value for money, fantastic location near the Old Town and tasty food options. The hostel had a cozy chill-out area and the staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. We appreciated the free use of an acoustic guitar and the comfortable, air-conditioned room with all necessary amenities.
The thin walls and occasional noise from outside or other guests could disturb our peace and quiet. The cleanliness could have been improved with more frequent attention to bathrooms and common areas.
